This is a beautiful set of 19 pieces, with cream with wood grain and
leaf pattern. The set consists of 2 large kitchen knives, 2 pc carving
set, 7 pc serving/hostess set, 8 steak knives. All pieces show no signs
of wear or use, one steak knife has a great deal of pattern loss, more
than likely from sliding around in the box. Another steak knife has
very minor loss to the finish, the large carving knife, has minor paint
loss as well. All blades and surfaces show no use...still perfect for
entertaining, daily use or display. The box is worn, not worn out, has
splitting on ends and not completely sturdy. The pieces do not stay put
in the box during movement, more than likely how the wear to the
handles occurred. This is a fantastic set, rare to find a complete set
in new condition.
