This
is a beautiful vintage art deco sugar bowl made by Brendan of Ireland.
This is from the Erin Stone Collection, made in Arklow, Ireland. This
is stoneware item that has a creamy glaze with tiny specks of chocolate
brown. The bowl and lid are both trimmed with a brown ring. This has
some light crazing but nothing that takes away from the beauty of this
little sugar bowl. I collect these bowls, and I find so many uses for
them, first they are always a conversation piece, where I found them or
the brand or age, but also I find so many uses for them. I use them on
my desk for rubber bands and paperclips, they are great in the bathroom
for cotton balls and q-tips, but I also use them on my nightstand for
hair pins and jewelry. These are also a great way to stow those diet
sugar packs! This is a nice size standing 3" tall and 4.25" in
diameter.
